The European Innovation Council has therefore approved a €17.5 million investment in order to accelerate the entry into service of the regional hybrid-electric aircraft ERA, aimed at being the first European low-carbon commercial transport aircraft. ✈️
This financial support is essential to maintain the sovereignty of AURA AERO, that is 100% owned by European shareholders and actively involved in European institutions (AZEA, EU Future mobility task force).
Being part of the 68 companies selected by EIC Accelerator among the 969 candidates marks a new step in the development of AURA AERO, already supported by the French state in the frame of the France 2030 plan.
