AURA AERO, French aircraft manufacturer and pioneer in low-carbon aviation, revealed today, at Paris Air Show, INTEGRAL E, the full-electric version of its two-seater aircraft designed for training, aerobatics and leisure.
In the presence of representatives of the FFA (French Federation for Aeronautics), of the French Gliding Federation (FFVP) – a partner of AURA AERO for a glider-tow plane version of this aircraft – and of several French aeroclubs, Jérémy CAUSSADE and Carole DELGA, President of the Occitanie-Pyrénées- Méditerranée Region, revealed for the first time this brand new full-electric aircraft, who will begin its test campaign in the coming days.
The Occitanie Region is a pioneer in supporting electric aircraft, in view of accelerating the decarbonization of aviation, and has been accompanying AURA AERO from the start, since the pre-industrialization phase of its first aircraft, INTEGRAL R, as well as in the development of INTEGRAL E and ERA.
INTEGRAL E is an electric aircraft operated by batteries that can be charged in less than 30 minutes. This eco-efficient and economic light aircraft will help aeroclubs and pilot schools reach their aim to decarbonize their operations.
Jérémy CAUSSADE, President and co-founder of AURA AERO, said: “We are very proud to present today INTEGRAL E, the latest addition to the INTEGRAL family. At AURA AERO, we are convinced that electric is the future of light aviation, and we are just at the beginning of this revolution!”.
AURA AERO already boasts Letters Of Intent for several dozens of INTEGRAL E aircraft.
